Notifications and alarms
Clatri lets you know when something needs your attention. And not every alert is the same.
Reminders vs alarms
- Reminders — device notifications that appear on your screen. Useful to anticipate: an upcoming meeting, a payment due tomorrow, a pending task.
- Alarms — actual sound that loops until you dismiss it, like a wake-up alarm. For what you can't ignore: time to take a medication, a doctor's appointment now.
Every event you create — from chat or from the dashboards — can be configured with a reminder, an alarm, or both.

Recurring payments, statement dates and due dates are computed dynamically — you don't need to create an event for each one. If you have a Netflix subscription registered as a recurring payment, Clatri generates the reminder automatically based on the date you configured.
Alarms on your device
On compatible iPhones, alarms integrate natively with the lock screen and the Dynamic Island. On Android and other devices, Clatri shows its own alarm screen with two options: snooze (5 minutes) or dismiss.
Device calendar
Clatri can sync your events to the native calendar of your device — Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or whichever you use. Each entity gets its own calendar with a different color, letting you see your Clatri events alongside the rest of your agenda without mixing them up.
Sync is enabled per entity from settings. If you turn it off or revoke permissions, Clatri stops writing to the device calendar without affecting your internal data.
Task reminders and schedule notifications
Task reminders are enabled when configured; a deadline alone does not request a reminder. They require the app to sync data and the device to have notification permissions. Completing or cancelling a task stops local reminders from its linked event. These reminders do not send email.
Schedules run agent messages and save their results in chat. You can separately enable a completion push notification and email delivery in Settings → Schedules. If a notification does not arrive, check history and chat: a delivery failure does not mean the run failed.
