> How the Clatri calendar works: manual events and one-time reminders, recurrence, shared and device calendars, and how dates behave when you travel.

Clatri's calendar doesn't just show events you create — it also automatically pulls events from other domains. In a single view you see:

- **Manual events** you created from chat or UI
- **Tasks** with due dates
- **Recurring payments** from Money (Netflix on the 15th, rent on the 1st)
- **Statement-close and payment dates** for credit cards
- **Obligation due dates**
- **Medications** with intake schedules
- **Medical appointments**

All of this appears consolidated in a calendar with **month** view (grid with dot indicators per day) and **list** view (detail of events for the selected day).

## Manual events

You can create events from chat (*"schedule a meeting with the team on Tuesday at 3pm"*) or from the UI. Each event has:

- **Title** and **description**
- **Date and time** (or all day)
- **Location** — opens in Google Maps; see [Maps and places](https://docs.clatri.com/en/space/maps/)
- **Reminder** vs **alarm** (the difference is explained in [Notifications and alarms](https://docs.clatri.com/en/notifications/))
- **Optional recurrence**

An event also works as a one-time reminder: *"remind me tomorrow to call the doctor"* creates an event with its start time and the reminder turned on. There's no "reminder" object separate from the event.

## Recurrence

Events support repetition patterns: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or **specific days of the week** (Mon/Wed/Fri, weekdays, weekends). You can ask to apply a change to one occurrence or the series. Changing the series updates pending occurrences and preserves completed ones.

New series retain their timezone to keep the local time across daylight saving changes. If a time does not exist because of a clock change, that occurrence is skipped; if it repeats, the standard-time occurrence is used once.

## Shared calendars

If you share an entity with someone else (partner, co-founder, team), that entity's events appear in your calendar with a different color. You can control which shared calendars are visible and whether you want to receive notifications from them.

## Device calendar

Clatri can sync events to the device's native calendar (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar). Each entity generates its own calendar with its own color. This is enabled per entity from settings — the detail is in [Notifications and alarms](https://docs.clatri.com/en/notifications/).

## Dates, travel, and agent runs

Timed appointments represent an instant: a 3 p.m. meeting in Bogotá shows up at 4 p.m. if you look at it from New York, because it's the same moment. That's also how Google Calendar and Apple Calendar work. All-day events keep their calendar date even if you change zones.

When you tell the agent *"tomorrow at 3"*, it understands it in [Time in Clatri](https://docs.clatri.com/en/personalization/#hora-en-clatri): your phone's zone, or the one you asked for in chat. Name the city when you schedule something for another place (*"at 3 Madrid time"*); your current zone and the entity's home zone are separate values.

A reminder alerts you about an event or task. If you want Clatri to do work later, such as review spending or prepare a summary every Monday, create a [Schedule](https://docs.clatri.com/en/schedules/). Its frequencies and handling of clock changes are separate from those of the calendar.
